Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Foundations Pelvic Physio, LLC is out of network with all major insurance companies including Medicare. Read this blog to understand the benefits of working with an out of network provider.
How much is a session?
My sessions are 155$ per session, including the initial evaluation. Services included in the session can include pelvic floor assessment, movement evaluation & prescription, manual therapy, cupping, and/or dry needling. If you are in the perinatal season I provide labor + delivery preparation and pelvic floor education as well as postpartum support/rehabilitation. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance - it would go toward your out of network deductible. Accepted forms of payment include HSA/FSA, credit card, cash, venmo, or zelle.

Can I receive reimbursement through my out-of-network benefits?
Most major insurance plans have out-of-network coverage for which you can receive reimbursement for the cost of care. This will vary based on the insurance carrier and your employer.
I am pregnant, when should I start pelvic health therapy?
I normally recommend seeing a pelvic health therapist in the second trimester around the 15-20th week and then again in the third trimester around two times unless you are currently experiencing any of these symptoms/concerns:
Leakage
Pelvic pain, tailbone pain, hip pain, and/or back pain
A sense of heaviness or pressure in the pelvic area
Questions concerning exercise
